How to get to Koh Mak from Pattaya?
Approximate departure time is from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
The exact departure time depends on the location of your hotel in Pattaya:
8:00-8:20 a.m. – departure from Jomtien Beach;
8:20-8:45 a.m. – departure from Central Pattaya;
8:45-9:00 a.m. – departure from North Pattaya, Nakluea.
Transfer Pattaya – Koh Mak includes a trip by comfortable minibus to Laem Ngop Pier and an exciting journey by speedboat to Makhathanee Pier on Koh Mak island, which takes about 1 h 20 minutes. You will arrive on the island at 3:00 p.m.
A return trip (if you book a two-way transfer)
You need to be at Makhathanee Pier on Koh Mak (the pier you have arrived to) at 10:30 a.m. The speedboat is off at 11:00 a.m. It will take you to the mainland. The traveling time is about 1 hour and 20 minutes. In 10-15 minutes after your arrival on the mainland, you will be taken to Pattaya by minibus. You will come back to your hotel at about 6:00 p.m.

Koh Mak is situated between the islands Koh Chang and Koh Kood, 35 km from the continent. The tropical island belongs to Trat Province. Koh Mak is the third largest island of Koh Chang archipelago.
The relief is quite flat, that is why tourists can easily go on foot or ride bicycles there. Although the island is small, it is a difficult task to travel all over it, because you can not find good roads everywhere. It takes about 4 hours to travel around the island by motorbike. And this is an amazing adventure as the road is surrounded by picturesque jungle – you will absolutely enjoy exotic Thai sceneries!
